1. What is it exactly that you do and what “Clionee” is all about?

Clionee is crazy to create a platform which everyone can do visual communication easily.

Visual communication is the new way of communication in the future which people who becomes a mature and learn a language with vocabulary and grammar forgot and has a great desire about.

Clionee is a new type of social media platform that allows you to share your life through visual storytelling that uses images and customizable visual objects and to connect others.

2. When has “Clionee” been founded? And what stage is “Clionee” currently at?

We set up the visual communication platform team in June 2010, and we started open beta service in July 24 2012, it takes almost 2 years.

Now we are fixing and developing more details about our service for official launching in 2 months. We are also developing mobile service for our service; it will be ready in 8 months later.

Today we had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. ‘Ryan Wegner‘; Co-Founder of the US (New York)-based start-up “Redrawn Labs” about their flagship product ”Emotish”.

1. What is it exactly that you do and what “Emotish” is all about?

Emotish is an iOS app that enables users to snap a self-portrait and tag what they’re feeling in the moment.

For brands, we are developing a specific platform through which they can launch an interactive, exciting, and beautiful mobile-social campaign built right into the user experience. In this way we aim to become the intersection where photo-sharing, brands, and consumers meet.

2. When has “Redrawn Labs” been founded? And what stage is “Emotish” currently at?

Redrawn Labs was founded in January 2012. We are currently in public beta, and Emotish is available for free in the App Store.

Its feature set includes taking photos, tagging the feeling, and sharing on Facebook and Twitter.

We will be launching an enormous update to the app in the coming weeks, though, which will enable users to follow each other, tag the context of the photo, and win exciting prizes from our brand partners.

1. What is it exactly that you do and what “LineChop” is all about?

Linechop is an online wait-listing service. It brings the experience people have waiting at restaurants to the web.

Basically as a restaurant goer you can check restaurant wait times online and have one click access to the waitlist.

It’s almost as if you were standing at the restaurant but now the information is just a click away.

For restaurants it’s a powerful management tool that is designed to improve efficiency and the overall experience a guest has at the restaurant.

2. When has “LineChop” been founded? And what stage is “LineChop” currently at?

Linechop LLC was officially founded on the 29th of May 2012 but the idea had been floating around before then.

Right now we are currently in the marketing phase, specifically looking for restaurants to partner up with to beta our service.

Our product is already built and is gaining a lot of interest.

We don’t have a launch date yet as we are currently working out the logistics, but we hope to bring our services to several restaurants in Chicago sometime in August.

1. What is it exactly that you do and what “Whalla” is all about?

Basically we want to complete the experience we get from attending an event with an online experience where you not only instantly have access to all your and your friends photos and videos, but also to photos of people you don`t know that attended the same event.

Just like in real life – you`re all there, you share this experience – so why shouldn`t you share it online without knowing each other? Add syncing your facebook, dropbox, picasa, flickr and others, spice it up with an engaging gamification and statistics system and finish it off with an awesome tool that will let you influence the venues and events you go to. 2. When has “Whalla” been founded? And what stage is “Whalla” currently at?

We took part in Huge Thing – a startup accelerator in Poznan,Poland. We finished the 3 month mentoring period and we`re in the 3 month acceleration period with conditionary funding (meaning we didn`t get it yet ).

Our startup is only 1 month old as both co-founder started Huge Thing with different projects and we joined forces only a month ago. Hence our product is not yet ready but our programmers are on fire and we should be up within a month. [Read more...]
