1. What is it exactly that you do and what “Rocket Lease” is all about?

Rocket Lease provides landlords with easy-to-use online rental applications.

Users create a listing for their property, track the progress of applications, and can choose which kinds of background checks to run: credit, criminal, or eviction.

More than 87% of lease applications are still done on paper.

Most of the rental industry is still dependent on fax machines.

We think this is incredibly outdated and are out to change it.

2. When has “Rocket Lease” been founded? And what stage is “Rocket Lease” currently at?

Rocket Lease started in 2011.

Right now we’re in the revenue generating stage.

We have a fully functional product that is currently used by landlords across the country.

Our goal right now is outreach.

We want to let as many landlords as possible know about our product and how easy to use it is.

1. What is it exactly that you do and what “Mapov.com” is all about?

Mapov.com is a new way to search for hotels using a map.

We display the hotel details, photos and TripAdvisor reviews for over 220,000 hotels, all on top of a map.

Alongside this we display the very best prices from some of the leading global hotel providers, in a way that is visually clean and crisp.

This approach makes it very easy for people to find hotels in the place they want, and importantly, at a price they can afford.

2. When has “Mapov.com” been founded? And what stage is “Mapov.com” currently at?

Richard Jackson founded Mapov.com in May 2011 and has since been working intensively with a small team of developers reimagining what we believe to be the future of hotel search engines.

In May 2012 the site went live, and has since been drawing wide and positive interest.

We are currently preparing to launch a tablet version.

DayGuest, like Expedia or Venere, enables you to browse listed properties by destinations (e.g. San Francisco, New York, Barcelona, etc.), features (e.g. room service, WiFi, etc.) and tags (e.g. romantic, business, etc.). And book online, of course.

“DayGuest”‘s team was kind enough to explain to us what their US (New York)-based start-up “DayGuest” is all about.

According to “DayGuest”‘s team; DayGuest, like Expedia or Venere, enables you to browse listed properties by destinations (e.g. San Francisco, New York, Barcelona, etc.), features (e.g. room service, WiFi, etc.) and tags (e.g. romantic, business, etc.). And book online, of course.

However, we offer online booking of hotel rooms at select luxury and boutique hotels for use during the day only. Day rentals, commonly known in the hospitality industry as day stays or dayuse, are not hourly rentals.

Each room is only rented once per day and only a few rooms per property are made available during the day. We are a small yet growing company of international web professionals.
