We had an interesting chat with Mr. “Konstantinos Papadakis”, Developer and Owber  of the Greece based start-up “PapadakisKonstantinos”

Below is the interview we conducted with him:

 

1. What is it exactly that you do and what your start-up is all about?

Our iOS applications provide the best user experience using the latest technologies designed by high detailed graphics.

We focus on user-friendly environment by creating simple & easy usage from inside our apps. Created by the latest SDK’s and frameworks, we focus on compatibility for every single iOS version & device.

2. When has your startup been founded? And what stage is your startup currently at?

Papaductions™ is an iOS application project founded in 2012 by Papadakis Konstantinos based on high quality apps for iOS devices optimized for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

3. What is your startup’s business model and how does it work?

We believe that success comes from a combination of hard work, being obsessed with high-end design, focusing on user needs and making sure that every one of our products is an useful tool for any kind of customer.

4. How did your team meet? And who in your team does what?

I am an independent developer. Papaductions™ is an iOS application project founded in 2012 by Papadakis Konstantinos based on high quality apps for iOS devices optimized for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

We believe that success comes from a combination of hard work, being obsessed with high-end design, focusing on user needs and making sure that every one of our products is an useful tool for any kind of customer.

5. What, exactly, makes you different from existing options, what will make your product and/or service stand out in the marketplace? In other words what’s unique about you and what’s new about what you make?

We focus on user-friendly environment by creating simple & easy usage from inside our apps. Created by the latest SDK’s and frameworks, we focus on compatibility for every single iOS version & device.

6. What is your growth like? And what milestones has your startup achieved so far?

As far we have a large audience of users across the world and we wish to extend more. This is a big deal to have users loving your apps from all over the universe.

7. Who are your competitors? And what is your start-up’s competitive advantage over them?

All things are competitive.  We believe that success comes from a combination of hard work, being obsessed with high-end design, focusing on user needs and making sure that every one of our products is an useful tool for any kind of customer.

8. What obstacles did you face and how did you overcome them?

There are a lot of users and companies on the App Store. This is a big obstacle and we fight them with creating the best iOS apps on the market. It is difficult enough to create something competitive but when it’s done, it is perfect.

9. What are the key things about your field that outsiders don’t understand?

Success coming from hard work and making things simple & clear, such our apps. people are interested to try new apps with new features and philosophies.

10. Why are you going to succeed?

We have the knowledge to build all kind of apps from a simple standalone product to the most complex network application using the best technologies & internet services.

11. If your startup succeeds, what additional areas might you be able to expand into?

We might be come across with multiple platform support, such Android or Windows phone. i think that android is a big deal but it has to take a lot of time reading about new technologies and i think that is better to do something good for a thing but a little good for two another.

12. Why did you choose this idea and concept to build your start-up based on?

I started creating apps by checking other apps on my phone and then i realised that is a good point to start creating my own. I have studied in computer software department and had the basic knowledge to achieve that.

13. What have you learned so far from launching your idea?

As the time passes, i am learning all kind of new different stuff about marketing, programming and a lot of other things & strategies for mobile apps.

14. Six months from now, what’s going to be your biggest problem?

To support all iOS devices i think because Apple get’s rid of the older versions a bit quickly. I think compatibility is a big deal. I think is better to solve the current problems about thinking at the future.

15. What’s the benefit for the customer/user?

16. How did customers / users find out about you?

I think when you are good a something and your apps be lovable from your users, new users discover you but without any luck, you are nothing. Also the promotion keeps a good share on that.

17. Who are your current customers / users? Who are your target customers / users?

We have a lot of customers from all over the world. We focus on all kind of ages from 1 to 101.  We have no limits about creating different content for our apps.

18. Where do new customers / users come from and what makes new customers/users try you?

I think ratings, reviews and promotion on the internet are the 3 things that an app can be successful. New customers bring new and so on. Marketing on the internet is the golden egg i think.

19. What do your customers / users say about your product and/or service?

I think that the most of user ratings on the App Store are positive. Especially on the last 2 months regarding by big app releases such as Phot.oLab. If your product is good the customers will leave positive ratings & reviews. it is simple enough.

20. How are you going to scale?

 We are going to continue to making quality apps and maintaining our existing for our users. New ideas are making true and keep working hard to whatever we build for the world.

21. What’s the biggest missing feature? The one thing customers/users keep asking for?

I think customers are looking for something simple, beautiful designed and well working. i think this is the magic recipe for success! I think that there are a lot of apps doing the same thing, something that is bored enough.

22. Are you going to internationalize? And if yes how are you planning to expand your start-up’s operations accordingly?

Internationalisation needs money and is a very good idea. i think seminars across the world is the best solution to expand your fame and working with new partners across the world.

23. How big do you think you can get? Why? And how you are planning to achieve your goals?

I will do whatever it takes to achieve my goals and my dreams in the mobile app world because is something that i love. Also making promotion is a big part of achievement, to make your app famous.

24. Are you looking to hire a new workforce? And if yes, what job vacancies do you currently offer and where can potential applicants contact you at?

I think is a good idea by in the meantime, there are another costs that I cannot afford. Hiring new people is a good idea and can make bigger things. Connecting with other people is a great solution to expand your projects to another directions.

25. Are you looking for partnership opportunities or funding from Venture Capitals (VC) or other funding sources? Or your business is self-sustainable?And if the first option applies where can potential partners / investors contact you at?

Potential investors is a good point, i would be happy to work with and the can reach me at papaductions@gmail.com. i think is a great solution to someone to invest to iOS apps.

26. What advice do you have for fresh entrepreneurs?

Keep your mind clean, make thing simple. it is a big road, but you have to fight to achieve something noticeable and good enough for the world. The mobile app world is very difficult and simple together.

27. Finally, do you have any other comments that you would like to add?

I am very happy for giving me the chance to introduce myself and my plans and also to promote my application on your website.
